In one of the most epic moments during 'Americans' production, and possibly filmmaking in general, Sean Penn asks Director Jameson Stafford for a script and some gaffer tape. He then proceeded to rip off a part of the page and tape it to his head so he could help Kid Rock get through one of his longer dialogue scenes. The entire crew was on the floor.
