Director Jameson Stafford laughs with Sean Penn & Kid Rock as they practice their memorable gift exchange scene as the sun races toward the horizon. Then, the prop department actually wrapped the wrong shirts - both actors and crew gasped when the paper came off, but, knowing there could be no second take, Stafford and the actors quickly improvised and the take became one of the funniest scenes of the film!
